The smallest discovery can spark Rodrigo’s unique creativity; the pearl necklaces he had crafted on his travels caught the eye of a fashion editor from Australian Vogue and this proved be the launch pad for his illustrious career and was the realisation of a life-long dream. Since then, after settling in Amsterdam, he has dedicated his life to pursuing his passion for design, going on to become a household name in his adopted homeland.
Initially Rodrigo concentrated on building his success with prêt-a-porter ranges of the most deluxe costume jewellery, with the addition of refined silver collections and unique one-off diamond pieces; he soon began to discover other avenues for his imagination to explore. His work symbolises his passion for life and his all consuming desire to enhance the natural beauty of men and women.

Behind the scenes Rodrigo has also teamed up with Clements Ribeiro, Ungaro, Jean-Paul Gaultier and Viktor & Rolf to great success.The statement that his work makes has created demand for costumes for some of the World’s leading music artists from Kylie Minogue, for whom he created a special diamond piece in association with the House of Gassan, to Kelis, Lauren Hill, Aretha Franklin, Destiny’s Child, as well as Britney Spears.
